The Beatles vs. Rolling Stones

The two best-known tribute bands of Hungary will perform after the Budapest premiere, as part of their national concert tour, in Debrecen, at the Nagyerdei Open Air Theatre.

The internationally renowned band BlackBirds is getting close to its 15^th anniversary of existence next year, spending all this time keeping the love for the music of Beatles alive, whereas the members of the band Stoned (led by Fonogram-awardee  frontman Péter Kőváry) have been playing the music of Rolling Stones, one of the greatest R&R bands of all time, since 2003. This jubilee music tour pays tribute to two ground-breaking records, as the album “Abbey Road” of Beatles was released 50 years ago, and so was the album “Let it Bleed” of Stones, with one of its greatest hits ever, “Gimme Shelter”.

During the concert lasting more than two hours, it is rather evident that the hits of both Beatles and the Rolling Stones will be played, presenting the main milestones of the careers of the two bands, with authentic costumes and musical instruments, string and brass sections, also including acoustic songs and original film footages.
